Join us as we explore a quieter side of Mt Fuji through a relaxed Shizuoka day trip. This episode is all about slowing down, learning the story behind the mountain, and enjoying local food and culture away from the usual tourist crowds.

We started our day at the Mount Fuji World Heritage Centre in Shizuoka, where we learned about Mt Fuji’s history, beliefs and cultural importance through immersive exhibits. It’s one of the best places to understand Mt Fuji beyond photos and viewpoints.

After that, we headed to Omiya Yokocho, a local food street near the shrine, where we tried Shizuoka style yakisoba, mochi, and the famous Mt Fuji ice cream inspired by the mountain itself. Simple food, local flavors, and a very laid back vibe.

We ended the day at Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha, a sacred shrine deeply connected to Mt Fuji and volcano worship. The clear spring water, peaceful grounds, and quiet surroundings made this stop especially memorable.

Ganito kasi yung sinasabi ko palagi sa ibang kakilala ko na way of travel na gusto ko. Yung ninanamnam yung lugar rather than punta picture tapos alis for the sake of maraming napuntahan. Just got back from Japan din pero Osaka muna. Love your vlogs po. 🥰🥰🥰
