In the Land of the Rising Sun | Kujukuri in Chiba, Japan

Along Japan’s eastern coast is a 66km long stretch of beach known as Kujukuri. From here you can see one of THE best sunrises and quite a few people will go there(especially on near years day) to catch the sun rising out of the ocean.

Thanks to the beach being so long the whole coastline is populated with many resorts and hotels, making it a great way to escape Tokyo and get some surf, sun and sand. We stayed at Asovillage, a lovely collection of private resort villas perfect for people with dogs or even cats!

It can be a pain trying to travel to places with pets so having such a great resort to stay at was really fortunate. I definitely want to go back again in a warmer season. :’)
