Motorcycle road trip The Best Way to See Japan? Mt. Aso Kyushu Honda CL 250

I rented a motorcycle in Kumamoto and strated my motorcycle road trip to Mt. Aso, one of Japan’s most dramatic active volcano landscapes.
This is Day 1 of my Kyushu motorcycle road trip — countryside roads, Milk Road, fog, sulfur smell, and a long ride to Miyazaki.

This is ride took me through countryside roads, Milk Road, foggy volcano views, sulfur smell, grasslands, alcohol-free beer at the top, and finally a long night ride toward Miyazaki. I didn’t expect motorcycle touring in Japan to be this tiring — but that’s exactly why I love this kind of travel.

Route: Kumamoto → Mt. Aso → Miyazaki
