Today we’re staying at Marina Bay Sands (MBS), Singapore’s iconic luxury hotel.

We’ll be exploring Marina Bay Sands’ newly renovated suites and facilities, the rooftop infinity pool, afternoon tea, dinner at CÉ LA VI, and breakfast.

In May 2025, Marina Bay Sands successfully completed a massive, multi-year room renovation project costing US$1.75 billion. This was the most significant upgrade since its opening in 2010.

Currently, a US$8 billion expansion project is underway, including the construction of a fourth tower and entertainment facilities, with completion targeted for 2030.

Marina Bay Sands has a 150 meters (496 feet) long infinity pool on its rooftop. This is located on the 57th floor of the Sands SkyPark, 200 meters (656 feet) above ground level.

Marina Bay Sands previously had 2,560 rooms, but renovations reduced that number to 1,850.

These 1,850 rooms are now divided into two distinct hotel tier segments:

The Sands Collection: 1,480 rooms and suites optimized as an urban retreat for general travelers and families.

The Paiza Collection: Offering 370 ultra-luxury accommodations, most of which are high-end suites serviced by a team of 160 butlers.

Total number of suites: The total number of suites is 775 (compared to only 180 before the renovations).

    Singapur steht auch für Logistik, und es gibt dort echt viele Frachtschiffe. Deshalb ist es nur verständlich, dass so viele verschiedene Speisen und Getränke gezeigt wurden.

    Singapur también es sinónimo de logística y hay muchísimos cargueros. Por eso es comprensible que se haya mostrado tanta variedad de comidas y bebidas.

    I was there recently after a month in Bali. Very expensive to stay in that hotel. Rich Chinese coming and dropping $1000 a night. Honestly, Bali was a way better deal.

    I was in Singapore in July. It was 95'F every single day. The rooftop pools were cooked. warm like bathwater. No heating necessary. This is truly a luxurious vacation and I enjoyed seeing the tourist attractions and the Jewel, but I doubt I'll be going back. I hated their food.

    I can understand remote villa places charging for drinks and snacks, because it's an effort to get it to the location….but to be nickled and dimed in a $1200/night room in the middle of a major city…….Man just gimme the coke and crisps.
