Maple Syrup Flavor?! Reviewing 9 Varieties of Japanese Ramen Snacks (Baby Star) π

I opened and reviewed the “Oyatsu Star Wakuwaku Pack” by Oyatsu Company. It is a limited-time snack pack filled with 9 different varieties of snacks, mainly centering around the Baby Star series ramen snacks. I bought it at a supermarket for about 800 yen.
In this video, I will try a little bit of each snack one by one and decide my favorite with a thumbs up πβ¨
1. Retro Baby Star Ramen Chicken Flavor
The retro first-generation package. The crunchy texture and gentle chicken flavor make it a nostalgic taste loved by everyone from children to adults.
2. Baby Star Ramen Chicken Flavor Mini
The current 3rd generation package featuring the character Hoshio-kun. The contents are the same as the first-generation package. It is a crunchy ramen snack with a classic, delicious flavor.
3. Baby Star Dodekai Ramen Chicken Flavor
A chicken-flavored crunchy, thin, and flat ramen snack. It has a great texture and is easier to eat than regular Baby Star because it doesn’t crumble or spill easily.
4. Baby Star Yakisoba Sauce Flavor Mini
The regular Baby Star with a savory sauce flavor. The wonderful aroma of green laver (Aosa) and the flavor of the sauce taste exactly like real Japanese stir-fried noodles (Yakisoba).
5. Caramel Baby Star
The regular Baby Star with a caramel flavor. The surface of the snack looks glossy, likely due to a caramel-flavored coating. It has a gentle aroma and a sweet caramel flavor.
6. Baby Star Dodekai Ramen Maple Syrup Flavor
A crunchy, wavy, thin, and flat Dodekai Ramen with a maple syrup flavor. Curiously, it has none of the usual Baby Star saltiness and tastes completely like a delicious cookie.
7. Baby Star Karipote Umashio Flavor
A potato snack, which is rare for the Baby Star series. It has a light salt flavor and successfully reproduces the signature crunchy texture characteristic of Baby Star snacks, making it very delicious.
8. Wamen Baby Star Black Pepper Umashio Flavor
A unique thick noodle (Wamen) that is thicker than regular Baby Star but thinner than Dodekai Ramen. The black pepper is quite strong and packs a punch, giving the impression of an adult snack. It seems like it would go very well with alcoholic drinks.
9. Kuchidoke Koji Sakumaro Curry Flavor
A crunchy corn snack that looks and feels like Karl snacks. It has a strong curry spice flavor, and the aroma of cumin is especially authentic.
