How do they compare? In american McDs the big Mac is a sorry form of a burger, it has decent sauce but barely any meat

Many foreigners who come to Japan say, “Japanese McDonald’s is delicious!”, but from a Japanese perspective… McDonald’s is just barely passing the test in terms of hamburger taste, so I wish they’d try other hamburger chains too.

I love Burger King’s limited-time autumn/winter “Mushroom Burger” and KFC’s “Japanese-style Katsu Sandwich,” but I wonder if foreigners ever try Burger King or similar places in Japan?

I don’t know that it’s inherently better as a fast food burger, but they certainly pay more attention to the details, which matters. You’re unlikely to randomly get an untoasted bun or unmelted cheese slapped together in Japan like you routinely will at my local McDonald’s in New Orleans.

  4. Japan really seems to know their cows. All the beef and milk I had in Japan was delicious

Is that mos burger? Their patty is disgusting. It’s so soft and flaccid. Literally no texture aside from “soft”

OP, Big Mac is a pretty low bar to start with.
