Day 364… wow.. When I started this series a bit over a year ago, I had no idea that it would resonate so well with people. I just wanted to spread a little joy.

Tomorrow ZenTrainer will have the honor of doing the 365th post. She and other contributors (eeff, crystaline, Colonel Nicholson, and our newest author Crimson Quillfeather) have all helped to keep this a daily feature here on DKos. A very special mention goes to belinda ridgewood who is also a regular contributor and the one holding this entire team together. I am humbled by everyone’s commitment and efforts. Thank you all!

I also want you to know that even though I don’t often engage in the comments, I always read every single one. I love the sense of community I’ve found here at DKos and I am incredibly grateful for all the positive comments and occasional discussions that follow below the fold. Thank you so much to all of you for making my day every day.

And now we return to our regular programming…

We’ll get straight to the point: The financial hardships that Daily Kos is facing this year are tough.

We continue to be paywall-free. We continue to be supported by our readers, not billionaires or corporations. But we need to bring in more revenue. We are leaning on our community more than ever to help make ends meet.

Power matters.
