For the first time in its history, the company will operate direct flights to Japan, one of the most sought-after destinations among Israelis.
The direct flights to Tokyo will begin on 25.10.2026 and will operate twice a week: Departures from Tel Aviv on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday nights, and return flights from Tokyo on Monday afternoons and Wednesday evenings.
The flights will be operated using a wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft and will include two service classes: Business class and economy class. Business class is equipped with spacious seats that open into a full flat bed, expanded baggage allowance, lounge access, chef-prepared meals, and personal service throughout the flight.
According to a review we conducted, the price will stand at approximately $1,500, including a suitcase.
The new route to Tokyo joins Arkia’s long-haul destination network, which includes New York, Bangkok, and Hanoi, alongside the new destinations recently announced by the company: Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) and Phuket
