Campaign Patches Not Applied: The rotating official FIFA campaign message patches, intended for the left sleeve, have not yet been applied to the kits shown.
The official on-shirt appearance of the 2026 FIFA World Cup sleeve badge has been confirmed, thanks to newly released portrait photos of the Japanese national team. The studio images show the players modeling their long-sleeved Adidas 2026 home kits, providing the first real-world look at how the tournament patch will be applied to the jerseys for the upcoming competition in North America.
As seen on the right sleeve, the official tournament badge features the black “26” logo with the iconic golden World Cup trophy at its center, all set against a clean white background. Oddly, the application on the Japan shirt appears is extremly off-center on the sleeve panel. The vertical offset is there to make space for the new debut patches, but the horizontal offset just looks bad.

The official FIFA campaign message patches to be featured on the left sleeve rotate for every round of the tournament, have not been applied.
