@11:54 Honestly knowing that you'd end up paying almost that much on just that lobster alone in the US. It's actually not that crazy expensive. I mean, it's still expensive in that's a LOT to spend on a simple lunch/dinner for the majority of the world (myself included), but when you take into consideration the level of quality, freshness and sheer quantity of the seafood, then you're actually getting a good deal.
Which makes sense since those kinds of restaurants in Japan, where it's basically a fish monger/restaurant can sell their seafood for a lot less than a regular restaurant because there's no middle man and very little overhead. Most only charge a minimum for food prep (some even do it for free if you spend a certain amount or some prepare the food for free but charge you for drinks). The drawback, is that they usually only serve the food in easily prepared ways like Sashimi, Sushi, or Kaisen-don/rice bowls, but with seafood like that it's not really a downside as it's generally accepted to be the best way to enjoy and truly appreciate such high quality seafood.
If you're really into seafood/sushi, than I HIGHLY recommend checking places like this out because you can score some the best seafood and at prices you simply can't get elsewhere.
(Hell, even if you take pricing out of the equation altogether…You'd be very hard pressed to even find such fresh and high quality seafood in the US, except in the fanciest and most expensive restaurants)

it's strange at the first location they gave you cut resistant gloves like a butcher would use not actual temperature resistant gloves.
Are these videos not a bit tone deaf with what's happening in the world right now? I love to see food challenge videos, but people are hurting, and seeing this on their feeds cant be helping their mental health. Just my opinion.
