The Ukrainian women’s national volleyball team lost to the Japanese national team (3:1) in the Nations League. This was reported by the Volleyball Federation of Ukraine, according to UNN.

“1st game week. Not a ‘diagonal’ night for the Ukrainian national team. In a fierce confrontation with the Japanese women, our girls significantly lacked precision and power in their attacks,” the statement reads.
Thus, the score of the match was 3:1 in favor of the Japanese national team (20:25, 25:16, 16:25, 20:25).
Today, June 6, the Ukrainian national team will have a day off, and on June 7 at 18:00, they will start their final match of the 1st game week of the Nations League against the French team.
Currently, after three rounds, Ukraine occupies 14th place in the standings with two points.
