There is a familiar pattern in Japanese concepts entering new markets: They tend to elevate everyday experiences into something luxurious.
Whether in tourism, fashion, beauty, or food, Japan has long mastered the art of refinement. That same sensibility now finds a new home in Manila through Key Coffee.
On May 28, the Japanese coffee brand officially opened its newest branch at Glorietta Mall in Makati City. Following its locations in Taguig and Quezon City, each designed with its own identity, this latest café draws inspiration from Ginza, Tokyo’s upscale district known for its luxury shopping arcades, refined dining, and architectural elegance.
Manila Bulletin Lifestyle was among the first to experience the space, now called Key Coffee Ginza Salon, where the brand leans into a more indulgent interpretation of café dining, anchored by its premium wagyu offerings.
