Nikka Whisky has announced that it will be the exclusive whisky supplier and sponsor of a brand-new London event, Tokyo Nights – an immersive theatrical and cultural experience that combines the excitement of sumo wrestling with authentic Japanese gastronomy.
The inaugural Tokyo Nights event launches on June 6th at Borough Hall, Greenwich, promising guests an evening of immersive sporting spectacle, theatre, and interactive food and drink inspired by the vibrant streets of Tokyo.
Throughout the event’s run, Japanese culture enthusiasts and newcomers alike will have the opportunity to experience specially organised bouts of the iconic sport, which is rarely showcased outside its home country.
This marks the first time Nikka Whisky has partnered with an event of this scale in the UK. The collaboration aims to celebrate tradition, expertise and craftsmanship through a distinctive entertainment experience.
As part of the partnership, Nikka Whisky will offer a dedicated cocktail menu and whisky tasting experience for VIP guests. Attendees will be able to enjoy a selection of Nikka whiskies, including Nikka Whisky From The Barrel and Nikka Taketsuru, served alongside dinner. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase bottled highball cocktails throughout the event.
