First time in Okinawa | 3 day itinerary

Okinawa is the southernmost prefecture of Japan consisting of many islands.
The largest island is Okinawa where the capital Naha is.

We are exploring Okinawa for the first time and this is our 3 day itinerary.

Starting from the south we visited Okinawa world, Urasoe castle ruins and Hacksaw ridge.
Checking out bridges connecting to other islands.
Okinawa aquarium and ending with the capital Naha

  15. Excellent tour of Okinawa. I saw a movie a Hacksaw Ridge a few years ago. Good movie. Okinawa is also known for its "Blue zones" which are concentrated areas with people who live to be 100+ years old. Nice drone and handheld camera footage. 👏👏👏

Urasoe Castle Ruins: The site of fierce battles during World War II, and the backdrop for the movie 'Hacksaw Ridge'. Day 2: Exploring Islands and Nature (3:376:05) Island Bridges: Admire the beautiful scenery while crossing bridges connecting the main island of Okinawa with surrounding small islands. Kouri Island: A popular island accessible by crossing a bridge. Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium: A representative Okinawa attraction where you can enjoy various marine creatures and dolphin shows. Day 3: American Village and Naha City Center (6:058:54) American Village: A former U.S. military base converted into a tourist destination where you can enjoy a variety of food. Naha City Center: Travel to Naha, the capital of Okinawa, to enjoy shopping and strolling. Chinese Garden: We conclude our trip by visiting the park built to commemorate the sister city relationship between Naha and China. We had a wonderful time sightseeing.
