Tigerair Taiwan today announced that it would launch new routes connecting Kaohsiung with Ishigaki Island in Japan’s Okinawa Prefecture and Komatsu in Ishikawa Prefecture.

The Kaohsiung-Ishigaki route would launch on Sept. 2, and the Kaohsiung-Komatsu route would begin operating on Sept. 3, Tigerair said in a statement.
