✨Which Hokkaido rail pass do you need when visiting Northern Japan!?

In this Hokkaido travel guixe we discuss which Hokkaido rail pass do you actually need? 🇯🇵

I had no idea when I started planning.. so here’s the full breakdown. Hokkaido Japan shocked me, we spent a week here and visited 7 different cities!

There are different 3 passes!

🗺️ Sapporo–Noboribetsu (4 days): we used this and visited Sapporo, Otaru, Shiraoi + Noboribetsu. Value was met after 3 uses!

🗯️ All Hokkaido (7 days): if you’re covering the whole island for 7+ days

🌸 Sapporo–Furano Area (4 days): the reason why we skipped this one is because there are so many different sights it’s easier to rent a car or join a tour. Klook has so many tour options from Sapporo to explore this area!

Seat reservations are inclduded with the pass, you just need to make them yourself at the self-serve machines or with JR staff.

📱 It’s so easy to book on @klook_usa . You can easily redeem them at Sapporo Station like we did! The staff speak amazing english and were super helpful!
