A peaceful spring morning walk in Otaru, Hokkaido.

Leaving the Katsunai River near ARCS Okusawa Store,
I decided to explore the quieter residential streets in search of cherry blossoms.

I had walked the vertical roads connected to the main highway before,
but the parallel backstreets felt like a small adventure for me.

Unexpectedly, I discovered beautiful cherry blossoms blooming around Okusawa Elementary School,
and continued walking until I reached the hidden back road behind Sumiyoshi Shrine.

It became a spring walk filled with small discoveries,
including a surprisingly wide road quietly hidden within Otaru’s townscape.
