I Explored Okinawa in a Camping Car (This is the Best Way to do it)

Okinawa is Japan’s southwestern-most prefecture. Formerly the Ryukyu Kingdom, which was only annexed by Japan in the late 1800s, it still retains some cultural differences, not to mention its tropical latitude means it has flora and fauna very different to that of Japan’s four main islands. In order to explore the main island how I normally like to explore (in my own camper van), I rented a couple camping cars from Evertrail (https://evertrailokinawa.com) to explore the main island for a few days. I spent most of my time in the northern part of the island where nature is the most abundant, where I came across quiet beaches, waterfall swimming holes, and even a couple decent hikes! In my opinion, this is the best way to explore the main island of Okinawa.

    Second time attempting to post this 😩. When I posted yesterday there was a 15 second segment where both the video and audio were distorted, and I just could not live with it knowing part of my hard work was not being shown properly… I just hope reposting doesn't negatively affect the video as it was doing fairly well for its first few hours of posting. Anyway, hope you enjoy this short exploration of Okinawa! Can't wait to be back to film in more depth and cover some of the culture and history of this amazing region!
