A new entertainment event called ‘Hokkaido Entertainment Convention in Kitahiroshima City’ (also known as ‘KitaCon’) will be held in Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido on November 14 and 15, 2026.
KitaCon will focus on pop culture entertainment centered around anime, games, and manga. The event will take place around the JR Kitahiroshima Station area, including Kitahiroshima City Arts and Culture Hall, Elfin Park, and Tonarie Kitahiroshima. Stage programs, hands-on events, and merchandise areas are planned. Further details regarding exhibitors and guests will be announced at a later date.
KitaCon will be jointly organized by the event’s executive committee and Kitahiroshima City, with plans to hold the event annually each November starting in 2026.
