i wish their teriyaki burger were sold in my country… and their ebi katsu burger as well…

I find the pork based burgers awful, and the teriyaki soy sauce Samurai burger is awful compared to the Quarter Pounder it replaced.

And they recently got rid of the spicy chicken.

But the plethora of limited time burgers are fun and their pie game is on fire.

Same as how I think about McDs everywhere else: dogshit

I don’t think it’s very good, but it’s a lot of fun; and they have fun promotional items. I had a good time!

it’s enjoyable to go to if you’re up for some gimmicky promo item, but I think better to eat elsewhere if you’re not there for novelty options. If you are, enjoyable, lol.

    Its mcdonalds.

Im not a big fan of most of the japan-exclusive stuff.

Though the tsukimi burger is nice.

McDonald’s is as bad as it is in any other country I guess. Different menus don’t change the always bad quality.

It’s good. I‘ve never had a bad meal.

Don’t go. If I’m in a pinch in the middle of the afternoon when restaurants are closed, there are still better options. And so many decent and even excellent burger places around, if that’s what I want. Never got my sons interested in it either. So many parents take their kids there, just nuts. Soba, sushi, udon – anything is better.

I usually go for Wendy’s if I wanted a midnight snack. At least the fries are fresh every time I go

I miss the Melon Fanta so much.

I didn’t like the soggy fries. I guess I had high expectations because of tempura and karaage but I was never able to find non soggy fries.

I crave the Chicken Tatsuta but it is an occasional feature. 🤤

One word, fast. Unlike where I’m from it doesn’t take 15 min for an order to be pushed out

I heard so many people claim that it was massively superior to their home version (I’m guessing mostly people from the US). I’m from the UK and tbh don’t notice a big difference in quality.

Having said that I wish the ebi-fillet was a thing here.

They used to have the spicy mc chicken under 200 yen

    which is great.

    otherwise, mid as usual?

I miss the quarter pounder with cheese. They got rid of that years ago.

But the new teriyaki chicken sandwich is very good.

And the chicken tastsuta is my absolute favorite. Mildly ginger flavored. Soft bun. So good. Too bad it’s only out every once in a while.

The filet-o-chicken sauce gives me the shits. Otherwise, I like it.

I will never forgive them for removing my love and joy, the Big Breakfast.

  20. HawaiiSunBurnt20

Meh. The exclusive items are not my favorite. The apple pies are fried here still though. Those are super tasty.

  21. breakfastburglar

Garbage, just like mcds anywhere else in the world.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I have a question for Americans here:

When ordering in the USA, does McDonalds offer menus?

I’m asking because recently, I’ve had to spend a few hours here and there outside at a place next to a McDonalds near an American base. There were a lot of US military personnel and from my position, I could hear people ordering at the drive thru.

Besides the odd happy meal, most American customers would order a burger, then fries and a then drink separately, instead of asking for a menu, which seemed odd because it’s more expensive for the exact same meal.
