Despite curbs, ‘nicopuff’ e-cigarette use rises among young people in Japan

Osaka – Despite being heavily restricted, an increasing number of young people in Japan are using nicotine-vaping devices known as “nicopuff.”

The e-cigarettes, which heat nicotine-containing scented liquid to produce vapor, carries “the danger of serving as a gateway to illegal drugs,” an expert warned.

Reasons for wanting to use nicopuff are varied.
