H.I.S. (HIS), a major Japanese travel agency, has updated its measures in response to the situation in the Middle East.
For overseas package tours (Ciao, impresso) and overseas flight + hotel products (organized tour packages), trips with destinations in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Oman, and Jordan, for which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan has issued a Travel Advice and Warning of “Level 2” or “Level 3,” as well as trips transiting through Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi, will have their departures cancelled through June 14.
For customers who have booked overseas air tickets, overseas air tickets + hotel (custom-arranged trips), or overseas hotels, handling will follow the standard regulations of the airlines, hotels, and local tour operators. If special measures are applied due to deterioration of the situation, the special regulations of each company will apply.
Cancellations made before the decision to suspend operation, and cancellations of trips to other regions, will incur cancellation fees in accordance with the regular terms and conditions.
