Extreme Bike Tours has seen its biggest year ever as travellers seek off-grid adventures and has added three new destinations for 2027 to meet surging demand, especially from Aussies.
Established in 2010 and headquartered in Sri Lanka, Extreme Bike Tours will this year offer 22 motorbike adventures on classic motorcycles in nine, far-flung destinations across three continents – the Himalayas in Nepal, India, Tibet, Mongolia, Bhutan and Sri Lanka – in Asia, Georgia in eastern Europe, and Namibia and Tanzania in Africa. This is 57 per cent more tours than offered in 2025.
And next year, Extreme Bike Tours is adding three new destinations for its popular, fully guided and supported, and all-inclusive tours – Japan, Thailand and also Kyrgyzstan in central Asia – with two 2027 departures to Kyrgyzstan already full, the Japan tours for next year close to capacity and the Sri Lankan tours also selling strongly for 2027.
The tours for licensed riders and pillion passengers range from 10 to 21 nights and include fuel, mechanical support, meals, transfers and accommodation in hotels, lodges, guesthouses and on some tours, tented camps.
