A Day in OTARU | Snow Light Path Festival | Hokkaido, Japan
Just 40 mins by train from Sapporo, Otaru is easily one of the best places to visit if you’re exploring Hokkaido in the winter. From the fresh seafood to the beautiful town and shopping streets, there’s plenty to do even in 1-day!
Every year, they also hold the Snow Light Path Festival (roughly the beginning of February), where thousands of candles light up the snowy landscape, making for a spectacular view.
