Air Busan will launch a two-week international airfare discount campaign starting Monday to ease travel expenses for customers amid rising prices. The promotion will divide popular routes into two groups and open them sequentially.

Southeast Asia and Oceania will come first. From Monday through the 12th, the first round of sales will cover major resort destinations including Taipei, Kaohsiung, Macau, Bangkok, Bali, Vientiane, Cebu, Nha Trang, Kota Kinabalu, Da Nang and Guam from Busan, as well as Nha Trang, Chiang Mai and Hong Kong from Incheon. From the 13th through the 19th, the second round of discounts will apply to all Japan routes, including Fukuoka, Osaka, Tokyo and Sapporo.

The travel period runs through July 31, targeting demand ahead of the peak summer vacation season, Air Busan said.

The carrier also prepared additional services to boost tangible benefits. Air Busan will provide two bundle discount coupons for add-on services to ticket buyers, reducing costs for optional items such as checked baggage and seat selection.

Discounted tickets can be purchased through the Air Busan website and mobile app. “This promotion was designed to provide practical support to customers struggling with rising travel costs,” an Air Busan official said. “The staggered regional openings will make it more convenient for customers to choose their preferred destinations.”
