3 Days in Hiroshima, Japan

Join me on a 3-day solo travel journey through Hiroshima city and the nearby sacred island of Miyajima. On the first stop of this Chugoku region trip, I’ll visit places including the tranquil Itsukushima Shrine with its iconic giant red torii gate, to the somber history at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Atomic Bomb Dome. I will also try unique local specialties like Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki and orange-flavored ramen. Whether you are interested in history or just want to enjoy a peaceful morning in a stunning garden like Shukkei-en, Hiroshima has it all.
