  1. Abby, did you know that the Shibuya Scramble was actually a river valley and that the Shibuya River is actually routed and runs underground through the Shibuya Station. It understand that it's routed through a lower level of the station and that you can actually walk under the Shibuya River.

  2. wow i literally just came back from an afternoon in Shibuya LOL, i went to Parco because i remembered the name but the 6th floor was enough of a treat to keep me occupied, also had some lunch on the basement floor. i'll have to check out some of the other places later, im currently living here so i just gotta find some free day

  3. I am SO looking forward to your thrifting video! I'm coming to japan with only a backpack and I plan to come back home with 2 suitcases and a new wardrobe lol

  4. Looking forward to your vintage store video. My wife LOVES going shopping at vintage stores. I found the Shimokitazawa area for her to explore, so I’ll be interested to hear what you say.

  5. your video was a grt way to relive our last years shibuya trip. thank you. i remember we had hard time finding our way to get to that elevator from our Cerulean hotel and we were running late. lol

  6. Can't wait for your Tokyo thrifting video! Thanks for being so thorough with your suggestions and also for showing the different locations on the map… that's super helpful!!

  7. If there is inclement weather, Shibuya Sky outside deck will close but the indoor observatory will stay open. Also, they’ll offer a partial refund for the closed deck. Info good as of July 2024.

  8. My sister is there now… after we both watched so many of your videos… and she planned everything and was on a tour and is having a great time and says she and husband took very many of your tips and advices. I'm not going but still watching and enjoying your show.

  9. I am a Shibuya hater. Whenever people ask ‘Where in Tokyo should I go?’ I tell them ‘Not Shibuya’. It's become so damn busy now to the point that it’s unbearable. If you have something specific that you want to go there for, a certain store (Tower Records, Nintendo) or a restaurant — by all means go. But don’t go just for the crossing and to say you’ve been. It’s nothing special.

  10. Fun fact, Shibuya 109 is named under its parent company Tokyu Corp (massive iconic department store in Japan): To = 10, Kyu = 9

  11. About Shibuya crossing and movies / series / anime / whatever, Id say Alive in Borderland was quite spectacular, because you see it crowded, and then you see it empty. I have no idea how they filmed that but Id be curious to know.
Apart from that, Abby from pic tours, it’s very entertaining to watch you, even if I know a little of Japan, or even more so, you have a nice way of putting your videos together, makes them always fun and interesting, so thank you.

  12. All the feels for Maddie clinging to the pole! I would have already fainted on the escalator (glass walls, shudder). Thanks for the shots of the park – I will be checking that out next time. My favourite Shibuya destination as a stationery fiend is Loft.

One problem I had around Shibuya Station was that Google Maps was absolutely hopeless around there. It led me around in circles until I was forced to fall back on my native cunning.

  13. I spent my whole first day in Japan between Harajuku and Shibuya. Despite it being the first day, it was still a highlight of my entire trip!

  14. Great video! We are going to in September and will use your recommendations on places to sit, watch and enjoy a drink.

  15. Recently been to the crossing, it’s quite fun to watch all the instagramers trying to get the perfect shots. Pretty much nothing else to do in the area other than perhaps the Nintendo store.

  16. One of the other places to get a view of Shibuya scramble that is free is the connector between Shibuya station and Mark City. you can see the connector in the video behind you where you are standing at street level. It’s probably about the same as the view from Starbucks.

  17. Excited for the thrifting video! Hopefully there are some plus size options in the mix! 💕

  18. You could advo your channel at : "【LIVE】Tokyo Shinjuku JR Live Cam東京 新宿 鉄道 ライブカメラ OmoideYokocho 2024." There are no Mods ~ever~, All you have to do is *not use a link when mentioning it . Many there would watch your videos, and Subb IMO.

  19. Hi everybody!
Can anyone recommend a quiet place (could be Nara Kyoto Osaka or Tokyo) for proposal? Im trying to find the best one, but they only show overcrowded or too known places.

  20. I couldn't imagine going to Starbucks while there's so many amazing mom and pop coffee places in Japan. Especially since there's ones with live DJs even
