Osaka instantly felt different from the rest of Japan 🇯🇵
Louder, brighter, more chaotic… and somehow, more fun.

This vlog begins with a visit to the iconic Umeda Sky Building during the Christmas season. The market below was packed, but the night views of Osaka from the top were absolutely worth it. 🎄✨

The next morning, I join a walking tour through some of Osaka’s most famous neighbourhoods – starting from the neon madness of Dotonbori, through the food-filled lanes of Kuromon Ichiba Market where I try fresh daifuku, and then to the wonderfully weird streets of Shinsekai.

Honestly, the giant 3D shop signs in Shinsekai completely fascinated me. Osaka really doesn’t do subtle. 😄

Later, I visit the famous Namba Yasaka Shrine with its massive lion/tiger head stage, before heading back into the chaos of Dotonbori for more food adventures – including tempura and the famous fluffy cheesecake from Rikuro Ojisan no Mise. Watching the cakes being made fresh was half the experience itself.

The vlog ends with Osaka glowing under neon lights, packed streets, and one final local dinner.
