The Japan Meteorological Agency has revised the magnitude of the earthquake that struck the southern parts of the Tokachi region in Hokkaido Prefecture from 6.1 to 6.2.
It has also revised the focal depth of the quake from 80 kilometers to 83 kilometers, and the time of its occurrence from 5:24 a.m. to 5:23 a.m. on Monday.
The agency says the changes have come after a detailed analysis of observation data.
