BINI is scheduled to take the stage on Aug. 14 at Expo ’70 Commemorative Park in Osaka and on Aug. 16 at Zozo Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, according to organizers. The group was included in the festival’s eighth wave of artist announcements on Friday, which also added acts such as December 10, Real McCoy, Thea Austin, formerly of SNAP!, and Crystal Waters.
In Tokyo, BINI and December 10 will perform under the “Eurodance Paradise” segment at the Beach Stage. Organizers said more stage details and additional artists will be announced after Japan’s Golden Week.
Summer Sonic, one of Japan’s largest annual music festivals, is held simultaneously in Tokyo and Osaka and features a rotating lineup of international and Japanese artists across rock, pop and electronic genres. This year’s edition runs from Aug. 14 to 16.
