Osaka Electro-Communication University has announced that they’ve brought two new professors on board, and both of them used to be pretty integral parts of Nintendo. (h/t Stealth40k)

Both Goro Abe and Kenichi Sugino have become professors at Osaka Electro-Communication University as part of the college’s Digital Game Department. In particular, Professor Kenichi Sugino has joined the Department of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering, while Professor Goro Abe took up a position in the Department of Digital Games, specializing in Game and Social Design, at the Faculty of Information Sciences.

During their tenors at Nintendo, Sugino was involved with the design and development of the Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, DS and 3DS. As for Abe, he’s most well known as being the director of the WarioWare series across 12 different titles.
