Before the tourist boom, gotokuji used to be such a quiet place in the suburbs. I’m glad people have discovered it but I do wish from time to time that there were less people with less lineups. Been coming here for 20 years now I guess. Quite a few famous burials here as well in case any of you are interested in history.
