    Can Himeji castle be visited? If so, would you consider doing so? I’ve seen it on so many videos from the Shinkansen, I’m curious to see it up close but no-one I’ve seen has gone there

    倉敷行く時に、新大阪で乗り換えて利用しました。
    一人席を予約しておいたのに、最初の30分は自由席とか関係ない所ブラブラしてました(笑)。いい思い出です。

    Yeah. The Hello Kitty Shinkansen is my second favorite Shinkansen (right after the Hayabusa), and I'm so happy I got to ride it in October 2024.
    And (secondly), yes, Bento on the Shinkansen tastes better.
