My Japanese home pasta dinner today.
Vegetable pasta, soup, and my favorite bread.
In Japan, we often eat pasta at home too.
Colorful happy pasta night for me.
Do you eat pasta at home in your country?

My No.1 food is bakery bread and very sweet food.
Bread is too dangerous for me. I love it too much.

colors looks great. would you add anything next time?

  3. Here in the US, “pasta” is always Italian-style noodles like spaghetti, penne, ziti, etc. If your noodles are literally anything else — ramen, somen, udon, etc. — it’s not “pasta”. That’s *just weird*, because Italian noodles and Asian wheat noodles are the same damn thing, and even in Italy there are plenty of pastas that aren’t just flour and water, so why Americans make this distinction, I don’t know. In my mind, an Asian pasta dish (Asia’s a very big place with a huge variety of pasta dishes from Japan to Türkiye, from Indonesia to Siberia) and an Italian-inspired pasta dish are just varieties of pasta dishes. It’s just noodles.

Anyway, I love me some mentai udon! If I didn’t have leftover rice already, that would be lunch today.

  4. I love pasta dishes but my husband doesn’t so much as hes diabetic. So sometimes I make spaghetti or something for me and my 2 sons and a different meal for my husband.

  5. This looks exactly like the pasta my Japanese wife makes on the regular.
