Kameya Issuitei (near Ueno Park)

Very fancy/elaborate quiet dining place where local Japanese grannies frequent. I came as walk-in (12.50pm), did not reserve. Service and dining arrangements are immaculate. Eel is tender, grilled to perfection (i prefer it to be soft and not too grilled/crispy). This unagi is focused on the freshness of the eel. I would have preferred a saucey unagi but this is the japanese style. The other side dishes were simple and clean. Cool to try for special occasion but price is a bit too high for normal dining (6600 yen).
