
I have a huge sweet tooth, so when I make curry, I make it very sweet on purpose.
Today’s curry had banana, apple, and honey in it.
On the side: homemade rakkyo pickles, miso soup, broccoli, and fruit yogurt.
The sweeter the curry, the happier I am.
My friends laugh and say “that’s not even curry anymore” 😂

This reminds me of Morrocan Tagine, a baked dish with lamb or beef and dates sauce!
Sweet curry wins. I love sweet food too much.
Odd. Sounds like it’s for nursery school munchkins. I’m with most people and prefer some sort of meat and a few vegetables in my curry & I prefer it fairly spicy.
Fruit yogurt is the perfect dessert for curry. It pairs perfectly with whatever style you made.
I have an unpleasant experience with mixing bananas in curry as I have to substitute my usual apples. I can’t describe it but its like it doesn’t belong in the dish.
I’d rather stick with just apple and honey if I wanted a touch of sweetness in curry as I adjust alongside its saltiness.
Also, don’t forget some sort of meat alongside potatoes and carrots.
