Japanese telecom equipment exports return to growth in 2025

Exports of communications equipment from Japan were worth JPY 241.3 billion in 2025, according to figures published by industry group Jeita and based on data from the finance ministry. The market returned to growth, with a 3.4 percent increase in exports compared to 2024. Radio equipment grew 3.2 percent to JPY 237.3 billion, and other telecom systems were up 21.2 percent to JPY 3.9 billion.
