Sapporo, I’m back! 🍜
No matter how many times I visit Hokkaido, this city always finds a way to surprise me. For this trip, we wanted to see if our old favorites still held up for the 2026 season and if those legendary wait times were actually justified.

We spent 3 days in Sapporo on a “refined” food mission. We went from the thick, comforting miso broth at Yukikaze to the chaotic-but-delicious 3-hour wait at Toriton Sushi. We even stayed at two different hotels just to compare the legendary seafood breakfasts (Vessel vs. Mystays—it was a tough call!).

Whether you’re planning your very first trip or, like us, you just can’t stay away from the North, I hope this 72-hour diary helps you decide where to spend your meals.
