GSMA organises ‘Tokyo Accord’ in boost to Japanese mobile industry
Japan’s mobile operators NTT Docomo, Rakuten Mobile, KDDI and SoftBank have signed a new agreement reinforcing their commitment to cooperation on developing 6G technology. The so-called ‘Tokyo Accord’ was also signed by regional operators Global Telecom and LG Uplus, along with three Asian 6G alliances, at the Digital Nation Summit Tokyo organised by the GSMA.
