Did the full Hakone Loop — in the rain — and it was unforgettable. 🌧️🚞 Started with scenic train rides through lush, misty mountains, followed by the steep switchbacks of the Hakone Tozan Railway. Took a cable car up into the clouds, where Owakudani greeted us with sulfuric steam and black eggs from an active volcano 🌋🥚 (yep, I ate one!). Then sailed across Lake Ashi on a pirate ship 🏴☠️⛴️, the mountains disappearing into the fog. Every stop had delicious food — from warming bowls of soba to freshly steamed buns. The rain only made it more atmospheric. Moody, magical, and definitely worth the soak. #HakoneLoop #rainydayadventure #japantravel
