Our Japan adventure continues as we leave Tokyo early morning for Kawaguchiko to witness the iconic Mt Fuji… but things didn’t go as planned 😅

From freezing weather (we were NOT prepared 🥶) to zero visibility of Mt Fuji due to clouds, and even a 2 km walk in the rain after a navigation mistake — this day had everything!

But we didn’t give up 💪
We explored Lake Kawaguchi, cycled through the beautiful Maple Corridor 🍁, and enjoyed some well-deserved matcha ice cream 🍦

The day ended with an unforgettable Shinkansen ride to Kyoto 🚄 and a peaceful evening exploring the streets and desserts of Kyoto ✨
