The Aki Matsuri (Autumn Festival) is held in October all across Japan to celebrate the changing of seasons and to thank the Gods for a successful harvest.
The celebration brings together the local community in a day of dance, music and celebration.
Whilst usually a spectator event, visiting Ojika around this time gives the opportunity to take part in this festival for an amazing cultural experience!
