Dude, that is just meat butter atp. It would probably all melt into oil like foie gras if you left it in the pan.

it honestly looks kinda gross? I mean sure, properly cooked the vast majority of that is going to render out. But “make my steak 90% fat” is not exactly the refined experience I’m looking for lol. I’m not saying it would taste bad or be gross. But it’s not particularly appetizing to look at thats for sure

That’s the thing with A5, a few bites and I got gout. I personally prefer A4, the lean to marbling ratio is perfect.

I live in Japan and you can pick up A4 Wagu steak at Costco for a decent price. Anyway, I feel small portions is alright but a big steak was too much for me.

I feel like this is too marbled, even for A5.

I live in Japan and don’t even like eating that stuff . It can be delicious on very small amounts like 3 slices of yakiniku MAX

Have a little meat with your fat? I just finished a choice cut of ribeye cooked rare. It was so rich I could barely finish it. Can’t imagine eating more than a few thin slices of this. Especially if the fat doesn’t get entirely rendered.

Looks good, though people need to understand A5 wagyu isn’t meant to be eaten like steaks. It only takes a few slices to be absolutely sick of the fat.

for me A3 is the sweet spot…. not too chewy great for yakiniku & simple stir fried with vegetable.

Too much fat

Yuck
Meekiaketchup
This is meant for literally 1 or 2 bites that’s it.
The golden ratio is A3 wagyu!
It’s marbled by red and meaty. You get all the tenderness and taste of wagyu yet the actual bite of meat (protein)
Best of all, it’s a lot cheaper than A5 lol

Where’s the meat? That cow musta been lazy as hell.

I thought this was a video of a cool crescent shaped vase at first 😭 this is terrible wagyu

Ay, I’ll just stick to Hanasato in Kobe with their Hida beef. I’m happy with theirs whenever I visit.

I think I like a bit of meat with my fat.
