Japanese pop icon Koda Kumi (43) has officially announced that she is expecting her second child! Her agency, Avex Management, confirmed that both she and the baby are currently doing well.
Due to the pregnancy, she will be prioritizing her health and making the following changes to her schedule:
- National Tour: The "Koda Kumi Live Tour 2026 ～Kingdom～" (originally set to start in June) has been postponed.
- Festival Appearances: She has withdrawn from upcoming performances at Jigorock 2026 (April) and Green Flash Fes 2026 (May).
- Tickets: Refund details for the tour will be announced soon, and all current lottery applications for the tour are being cancelled/processed as unsuccessful.

as a fan i can’t help but laugh at the irony (if you know, you know), but i’m beyond happy for her!!! i’m glad i caught her show in february before she goes on hiatus. wishing her a happy and healthy pregnancy
