  1. hahaha. when the weight of the coins risk putting you over. πŸ˜‚

    under 7kg! that is amazing!!!

really puts into perspective the 6 checkin, 2 rolly bag, 4 backpack + stroller we’ve been traveling to Japan with. LOL

even before the kids, when it was just me and Momabetic, we’d have 4x suitcases to check-in for the flight home.

  2. I’m with you. I only travel with carryon luggage. The only issue I have is, that I travel from the southern hemisphere to the northern hemisphere. So the weather is completely the opposite. In January I will be travelling from the height of summer in Australia to winter in China. πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

  3. My wife and I, and 14-year-old daughter are going to Japan from Thailand next week for 15 days. Each taking a backpack and one additional small rolling case. Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka and Okinawa. Everyplace we stay will have laundry facilities. When travelling so much within the country large suitcases are a deal breaker. Good tips.

  4. Hello! I’m going in early Nov for 3 weeks, may I ask what temp can I expect so that I can plan? Thank you so much

  5. Merino wool is only good if you are not allergic to wool. I bought some expensive Unbound merino tees but have to wear a cotton tee underneath so it defeats the purpose for Summer. OK for Fall but really doesn't help with minimal travel.

  6. This packing video is perfect for Thailand too. If you are flying asia air, 7kg is the limit.
Also, packing a unscented bar soap and lotion is very necessary in Thailand bc its almost impossible to find a travel size one. Just wanted to share my experience even tho this for a different country. 8:21

  7. I say it’s possible but not during the summer when you sweat. The key is being able to wash your clothes but make sure to put aside at least 3 hours to do this. The dryer takes forever.

  8. I'm a big fan of merino for travelling, but not in hot weather as I find it too warm. My go-to for that is silk.

  9. Hi Heidi! Thanks so much for your video! The other recent video you did actually inspired me to buy 4 outfits that I could mix and match. It's taken a lot of stress off because I was definitely overpacking. You and I have similar color palettes, love the purples and pinks!
    Thank you, thank you!!

  10. I went to Bali for 9 days and only had 3.75kg. I got pounced on by Australia customs for it on my return.

  11. Hi, how much cash should we take to Japan for a week? It’s our first time and a Family of 5 with our Hotel, some Disney days and a private tour already paid. Thanks so much
