After our recent cosplay adventure in Aizumura, we headed to the nearby city of Kitakata, home to one of Japan’s three most famous ramen varieties. (Alongside Hakata and Sapporo!) Kitakata ramen has unique thick noodles, and a clear but deeply flavorful broth, so it’s no wonder we all left happy as clams (and full of noodles).
