what great timing. Im flying china airlines next month but on economy lol
imo the sliding chairs seem great especially because you don't have to deal with the reclining seat in front and don't have to worry about the passenger behind you.. I've also never had a calf rest that made much of a difference! all sound nice!

flew them from SFO to Taipei. They were amazing. You are right it's a sleeper. I liked them better than Starlux.
Made my weekend a review by Isabella. Was going to say you booked your usual premium economy seat where you could recline without feeling guilty but they don't recline. Did you know this before you made your seat selection ?, Never seen somebody so happy about having an empty seat next to them lol.
China Airlines definitely feels like a sleeper airline! I will be lucky enough to fly them for the first time this summer on a short haul flight from Busan to Taipei in business class!!!
i did a lot of research on their p. economy a couple months back. the extra checked bag weight was a life saver for us! regarding the seat, supposedly the a350-900 p. economy seat is a little better then the 777, about 1" wider and 11 more degrees of recline.

On a CI flight two years ago, I asked for butter for the bread. The flight attendant didn't know what "butter" was!
