World’s Largest Radishes Contest: Sakurajima Daikon, Kagoshima, Japan
Sakurajima Daikon, Japanese white radish, are the world’s largest and heaviest radishes. Located in Kagoshima, Japan, you can take a short ferry ride to see and buy Sakurajima daikon. On January 31, there was a daikon radish contest to see who has the best and largest daikon radish in Japan!
Hope you enjoy this short trip video showcasing the daikon radish! I wonder why it grows so large, maybe it’s the volcanic soil from Sakurajima Volcano!

This is a weirdly relaxing video! I love it! 😀
My okasan is from Kagoshima! We visited there when I was about 5 years old. I still remember going to onsen with my okasan. I love Japan so much.
