The Best Travel Video of 2019 is here! 7 Years + 70 Countries of Travel around the world, it’s been exhausting to capture it all, but I invite you on a soul searching journey and the most incredible experience of my life through the magic of video. It was insanely difficult to choose only 3 minutes of my last 7 Years of my life traveling in my adventure of going from Medical Student, driving a motorcycle around the world to full time Film Maker / Content Creator, but here it is.
To answer the most common questions about this video and myself:
-Back in 2012 I quit medical school to travel the world, sold everything I had and jumped on a motorbike.
– More than 95% of this video was shot solo by myself using tripods, drones, rocks or anything I could find to hold the camera. Yes that’s me riding a motorcycle and flying the drone at the same time… haven’t seen anyone else do that before . The other shots were done by random strangers or friends in the very rare moments I had company with me.
– The majority of my travels has been on motorcycles. Most memorable was my Alaska to Argentina Road Trip for 500 Days on my Kawasaki KLR 650 – See the video here:
-I first funded my travels by selling everything I had, my car, TV, clothes and gaming consoles and ate canned beans and camped everywhere for the first 3 years to make the money last. Then I started getting traction on my blog and eventually with some viral videos on my YouTube that got me national and international attention.
