    Japan looted at least 3 trillion dollars of wealth from its Asian neighbors like South Korea, China, North Korea, ASEAN etc..that's how they get first bath of wealth to fund its industrial revolution

    I fully agree with you. Japan is super overrated and highly problematic. I love to visit Japan but the country is deteriorating. A lot of bad things or a lot of bad behavior by the Japanese have surfaced now. Simply put, Japan is declining, just like many parts of the West. Oh yeah… you put it right, Japan is dying. If you want the future, go to China. China is already living in the future, the most advanced and futuristic country in the world. Well, everything in Japan is from China, including the people but Japan is not a normal country. However, it is a very perverse country, even perverse in the good way and bad ways. It is susceptible to extremism. Well, Japan was still ahead of China not many years ago but it has returned to its own self. Japan sits on the tectonic plate and it is filled with bad karma. Unlike Germany which had apologized for its war crimes, Japan has not. It is hard to say how some people can suffer from bad karma or benefit from good karma because it seems even good people do suffer too, but Japan is doing itself a disservice by not coming to terms with its past regardless of karma or merits. Japan is sadomasochistic. Japan needs a change, a revolution and it should if it can survive the BIG one.

    I was there two times. The homelessness surprised me. Japan felt sad and depressing to me. The food was extremely bland to me, but that's just personal preference. Overall Japan is overrated.

    Japan is failing and miserable, it is going to be the real next Sick Man of Asia! it is fast falling behind and yet too complacent to not take notice of the rise of the other countries such as Malaysia that comes direct at it to be its biggest fear and threat.

    Excuse u , Japan has lost no 2 for a long time to China, and now 5th behind Germany and India! It will soon be out of top 10 in no time!

    Japanese products, such as innovative, but cheap, consumer electronics, were considered very poorly made during the 1950s by well-built American standards. That changed dramatically during the next decade.

    You seldom see Japanese locals smiling on the streets; it's mostly foreign tourists who are smiling. Cluttered utility poles, narrow streets, and small houses all convey a sense of social repression.

    Telephone booths may look old-fashioned, but when the Great East Japan Earthquake struck, mobile phone signals were cut off even in Tokyo, and the only thing that worked at the time was the public telephones in telephone booths. So, although they may look old-fashioned, please know that they are installed for use in emergencies😅

    I migrated to Australia from China when I was young. Never visited Japan until last year with my partner. He had visited Japan once a few years back and he loved it. My expectation was so high and I was so disappointed. Funny, you said Japan is dying. The biggest problem is they refuse to evolve. Of course they are stubborn and didn’t want to admit. If you are complacent, you will be outdated in no time. I will not go back to Japan for sure. Anyone so hyped up for Japan should go to China and have a look. You will know Danny is right. If you are China hater and never wants to fact the truth, then live in you bubble.

    Mobile payments, mobile email, cameras, and the use of QR codes were all pioneered by the Japanese. And the Japanese were the first in the world to actually use them in society.

    Going cashless has technically been possible in Japan for 20 years.

    However, that would mean that large corporations would hold all consumer information.

    Furthermore, if the government and large corporations teamed up, smartphones could be turned into ID cards or driver's licenses, and the government could constantly control people's location data.

    The Japanese were the first to recognize this digital dystopia, discussed it at length, and as a result, decided not to rush into it.

    日本は外国人の移民がかなり増えてきた。正直外国人が多すぎて不安になる。外国人犯罪がテレビのニュースで報道されない日はない。一番多いのがベトナム人で次が中国人です。この2つの国だけで外国人犯罪の6割を超えます。相当深刻な問題です。ベトナム人の多い犯罪は窃盗　中国人は詐欺犯罪ですね。この両国の移民による凶悪な事件も多発しています。日本もヨーロッパと同じ移民問題を抱えつつあります。でヨーロッパと同じように左翼メディアが多いので、社会問題として捉えない傾向があります。ポリコレですね。外国人犯罪をテレビで訴えるとレイシスト扱いされかねないので皆が黙ってしまうのです。流石に移民反対の政治政党が躍進したので、徐々に取り締まりは厳しくなりますが、それでも移民が増える傾向が止まる気配がありません　特に心配なのが中国人とイスラム教徒とアフリカ系の流入です。これらの国の人達が増えると今の治安が保たれる可能性は低くなる可能性は高いですね。

    日本という国ほど田舎と都会のインフラの格差がない国は世界に存在しないと思うよ。因みに鉄道の駅の数は9400駅あり世界一多いです。日本ほど均質化された国は存在しないと思うよ。よく日本は落ちぶれた　1980年代で止まっている　と言う人がいるけど　日本のメディアが発信源の日本衰退論の受け売りで喋ってるだけだと思うよ。おそらく　この手の
    話が出てくる原因は一人辺りのGDPの相対的低下や　新聞や出版物　CDや本やレンタルビデオ店舗が未だに流通してることや　ハンコ文化やFAX文化が残っていることを誇張されて広まっていたり　キャッシュレス決済の利用率が5割くらいにとどまってることも　日本が衰退している　という根拠にしているようですな。あとは未だにライドシェアリングが
    普及していないことを言う人もいるね。あとはeコマースの小売業界におけるシェアは1３%と中国やアメリカに比べて少ない　ということかな。しかし　これらの日本衰退論・停滞論の理由を並べても日本停滞論の根拠としては乏しいと言わざるおえず　マトモに日本に住んだこともない人の戯れ言でしかない。

    日本が世界で最も都会と田舎の格差が少ない理由は幾つかあります。その一つに　都会に有る殆んどのチェーン店が田舎にも有るということです。　日本という国ほど均質化されてる国は存在しない　ということです。
    田舎の日本人がTOKYOの高いビルに驚いても　日本の小売業のサービスとクオリティに驚くことは
    あり得ません。全国で全ての業種がチェーン店によって均質化されているので違いを感じることが出来ないからです。例えば中国や韓国のような中進国の田舎に行くと原始的な小売店や商取引をしていますが、日本では　もはやチェーン店による均質化で　そのような都会と田舎の格差は存在しません。
    日本では道路に　それなりの交通量が有れば田んぼの周りでもセブンイレブンやLAWSON　ファミリーマートが有ります。
    しかし　実は日本でも1980年代までは個人が経営する商店街が数多く有りました。多くの日本人は家電製品も個人が経営する電気屋で買っていました。動画にあるような個人が経営するFruit and Vegetablesのお店　お酒やビールも個人が経営する酒屋さんから買っていました。服も個人が経営する店がたくさん有りました。魚も肉屋も個人が経営する店で買っていました。金物屋hardware storeも個人が経営する店で　薬も個人が経営する店でアイスクリームや菓子も個人が経営する店で買っていました。しかし　1990年代以降全てが変わっていきます。これらのお店は大企業のチェーン展開によって駆逐されていきました。大型家電店が田舎や地方に進出し　ドラッグストアが進出しUNIQLO等のアパレル企業が進出し　大型酒チェーン店が進出し　hardware storeの大型ホームセンター　100円ショップ　コンビニ　等の　進出によって日本人の殆んどは個人店から商品を買うことはなくなったのです。
    　これだけを見ても日本は1980年代と何も変わらないというのが大嘘だということがわかります。
    この大型チェーン店の全国展開が　公共のトイレが断トツ世界1位の一つの要因でもあります。
    田舎にチェーン店が進出するということは商品のクオリティやサービスのクオリティの均質化だけでなくトイレ等のインフラのクオリティの均質化でもあるからです
