🇯🇵 Japan is one of the most fascinating countries I’ve ever visited and I loved being here. But while walking through its cities, I started noticing something deeper:a shrinking population, empty neighborhoods, outdated systems behind a futuristic image, a lost generation, and a country quietly struggling with demographic collapse. This video explores why Japan is slowly dying… not through chaos, but through low birth rates, aging society, social withdrawal, and overtourism masking deeper issues. How does the Futre looks like? Time will show…

Japan looted at least 3 trillion dollars of wealth from its Asian neighbors like South Korea, China, North Korea, ASEAN etc..that's how they get first bath of wealth to fund its industrial revolution
I dont like japan ,I am chinese but ukraine is gone ,like it has never existed😢
I fully agree with you. Japan is super overrated and highly problematic. I love to visit Japan but the country is deteriorating. A lot of bad things or a lot of bad behavior by the Japanese have surfaced now. Simply put, Japan is declining, just like many parts of the West. Oh yeah… you put it right, Japan is dying. If you want the future, go to China. China is already living in the future, the most advanced and futuristic country in the world. Well, everything in Japan is from China, including the people but Japan is not a normal country. However, it is a very perverse country, even perverse in the good way and bad ways. It is susceptible to extremism. Well, Japan was still ahead of China not many years ago but it has returned to its own self. Japan sits on the tectonic plate and it is filled with bad karma. Unlike Germany which had apologized for its war crimes, Japan has not. It is hard to say how some people can suffer from bad karma or benefit from good karma because it seems even good people do suffer too, but Japan is doing itself a disservice by not coming to terms with its past regardless of karma or merits. Japan is sadomasochistic. Japan needs a change, a revolution and it should if it can survive the BIG one.
23:45 OMG! There are graffitis all over. In East Asian societies, graffiti is not welcome and it is rare.
Japan is most beautiful country in Asia and unlike any other country.
I was there two times. The homelessness surprised me. Japan felt sad and depressing to me. The food was extremely bland to me, but that's just personal preference. Overall Japan is overrated.
Japan – The Land of Setting Sun!
Japan is failing and miserable, it is going to be the real next Sick Man of Asia! it is fast falling behind and yet too complacent to not take notice of the rise of the other countries such as Malaysia that comes direct at it to be its biggest fear and threat.
Excuse u , Japan has lost no 2 for a long time to China, and now 5th behind Germany and India! It will soon be out of top 10 in no time!
Japan is not dying they stopped being greedy ☯
Japanese products, such as innovative, but cheap, consumer electronics, were considered very poorly made during the 1950s by well-built American standards. That changed dramatically during the next decade.
You seldom see Japanese locals smiling on the streets; it's mostly foreign tourists who are smiling. Cluttered utility poles, narrow streets, and small houses all convey a sense of social repression.
Thought it was dead but you still talking
Next time, please dig deeper into Japanese "Zen" instead of Akihabara.
Telephone booths may look old-fashioned, but when the Great East Japan Earthquake struck, mobile phone signals were cut off even in Tokyo, and the only thing that worked at the time was the public telephones in telephone booths. So, although they may look old-fashioned, please know that they are installed for use in emergencies😅
Click bait 🪤
I migrated to Australia from China when I was young. Never visited Japan until last year with my partner. He had visited Japan once a few years back and he loved it. My expectation was so high and I was so disappointed. Funny, you said Japan is dying. The biggest problem is they refuse to evolve. Of course they are stubborn and didn’t want to admit. If you are complacent, you will be outdated in no time. I will not go back to Japan for sure. Anyone so hyped up for Japan should go to China and have a look. You will know Danny is right. If you are China hater and never wants to fact the truth, then live in you bubble.
I visited Japan in 2024. I rate Japan 11/10. The problem is that I hardly see kids, or children playgrounds. Insane!
You are ignorant.
Mobile payments, mobile email, cameras, and the use of QR codes were all pioneered by the Japanese. And the Japanese were the first in the world to actually use them in society.
Going cashless has technically been possible in Japan for 20 years.
However, that would mean that large corporations would hold all consumer information.
Furthermore, if the government and large corporations teamed up, smartphones could be turned into ID cards or driver's licenses, and the government could constantly control people's location data.
The Japanese were the first to recognize this digital dystopia, discussed it at length, and as a result, decided not to rush into it.
In fact, China has become a dystopia where people are controlled by the government through digital technology.
You are incapable of considering things in that way, and can only see the surface of things.
The idea that using coins in vending machines is a hassle is nothing more than a child's thinking.
I'm surprised.
I never expected you to talk about the "Japanese fax myth."
It's a favorite story of Chinese people and ignorant Westerners.
Microsoft's AI replies as follows:
"In Japan, about 40% of people use fax, while in the United States about 70% and in Germany about 50% of companies use fax."
You're a typical young person of the "smartphone generation."
It seems that if we don't read books, we become like him.
Japan is the same as it always was. Japan learned an copied th Tang Dynasty of China and got stuck in that period and the rest of East Asia moved on for the good and the bad.
japan is clearly overrated in china
very depressing country. eerie feeling. disconnected. soulless.
Pointless😂😂😂
Ten years ago, twenty years ago, thirty years ago Japan has always been described that way.
The result? It's maintained that state all along.
It's not a great life, but it's not a terrible one either.
That's just how life is.
Japan sucks just because of its bad and tense relationship with China and bordering countries. It kissed up to Uncle Sam 's ass and being cooked.
With the rise of Japan's militarism and loyal lapdog to US imperialism, many countries in Asia wish and support Japan's death. A lot of people already boycott Japanese products.
Yes. Japan is certainly on the road to death. So please tell more people not to go to Japan for sightseeing or living. The more outsiders there are, the dirtier Japan will become.
The guy who got paid by the Taliban to promote Afghanistan is now complaining about Japan.
How’s Ukraine going, sir?
As a Japanese, I'm agree.

I don't think Japan is dying. It is stuck in the 80's and never moved forward.
Theft is very easy with electronic transactions. You can look forward to have large sums stolen from you with the new payment processes
Same old story. Japan is dead since 30 years. According to westerners and chinese. Im from Europe and live in Japan. I see way less problems here compared to Europe after all.
an anecdote of japan's relative decline, I once flew Japan Airlines from Singapore and was shocked the national carrier still operated boeing 767s
After the US military withdrawal from the Asia-Pacific region, Japan no longer under US control‼️ Will Japan continue its World War II-style expansion, or will humbly maintain good relations with other Asian countries❓
I really don’t think Japan is amazing country to live in, specially when the earthquake happenings so often 😅 this why Japan has never been invaded by any other country in its history‼️
Very very true, I've always said this, this country is very overrated
Japan is a colony of the US. Japanese are slaves of the ruling class of the US. Everybody knows it😂
I’d say your take is rubbish mate ! You can’t come up with this by travelling 2 weeks ! Get a grip mate and stop rubbish videos makes you look like a moron rather than giving insight into Japan ! Japan is incredible and doing better than any other western country ! You probably should look at your which is dying
Every country dies sometime and every economy has its limits of time
It's funny how now Japanese so hate foreigners but why they didn't get it why other hate foreigner invading them during the 1940s'? They were once a superpower like US…but sadly no more….for both
Respectfully I disagree……….i was just there and it’s amazing I love it…………with all due respect
